Job Summary of Meat Department Assistant:

Your role as a Meat Department Assistant at ShopRite requires you to maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment by following Department Sanitation and QA standards for sanitizing work surfaces. It is essential to keep the floor clear of any debris or spills. Additionally, greeting Customers warmly and providing them with courteous service is a key aspect of the position.

Responsibilities of Meat Department Assistant:

Handle meat and poultry customization by cutting, trimming, slicing, and preparing as requested by customers and in line with ShopRite specifications.
Carry out the precise portioning, wrapping, weighing, and labeling of all meat products.
Keep products fresh and of high quality by rotating inventory and following safe food handling protocols.
Safely operate and maintain various meat cutting tools, including saws, grinders, slicers, and knives.
