Job Summary of Grocery Deli Worker:

At ACME Markets, we are looking for a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of deli products, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, and hot foods. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and serving high-quality food items while providing excellent customer service. You’ll be using specialized tools like meat slicers, fryers, and ovens, while ensuring every customer has a positive experience at our store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Grocery Deli Worker:

• Cut, slice, and prepare a variety of deli products including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads.
• Assist customers with product selections, answer questions, and provide suggestions based on their preferences.
• Utilize equipment such as slicers, fryers, and ovens to prepare fresh and delicious deli items.
• Ensure that the deli area remains clean, organized, and meets health and safety guidelines.
• Stock and rotate deli items to ensure freshness and proper inventory management.
• Provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for customers, making every interaction a positive one.

Qualifications and Experience of Grocery Deli Worker:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in food service, particularly in a deli or retail setting, is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work with various kitchen tools and equipment, including slicers and fryers.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
