Job Summary of Pastry Clerk:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient functioning of the bake shop by delivering excellent service, preserving the quality of items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. By providing customers with freshly baked items, addressing their queries about products, and ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines, this position is instrumental in elevating the customer experience within the store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pastry Clerk:

• Support clients by responding to queries and assisting in finding items in the bakery section.
• Adhere to the company's regulations when packaging and marking baked goods for sale.
• Uphold standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all designated areas of work and exhibition.
• Ensure that baked items are visually appealing when displayed and regularly reorganized to ensure they remain fresh.
• Comply with the company's policies regarding food safety and proper handling practices.
• Provide support and aid to team members in other areas as necessary.
• Inform the relevant team leads or managers about any issues with equipment or products.

Qualifications and Experience of Pastry Clerk:

• Preference is given to candidates with previous experience in customer service or food preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in any situation.
• Capable of thriving in a high-speed retail atmosphere.
• Focused on being meticulous and dedicated to upholding cleanliness standards and ensuring the safety of food products.
• Showing a desire to gain new skills and comply with the company's established procedures and standards.
• Capacity to adapt to varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Preference may be given to candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent.
