Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the receiving and storage processes, optimizing product handling, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
Conduct duties linked to the reception and placement of products like unloading, verifying with RF devices, setting up items in specific spots, managing cross-dock operations, and choosing flow-through merchandise.
Show up at the workstation on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to start work for all scheduled shifts.
Comply with OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines for operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
Maintain a workspace that is orderly and free of clutter for safety purposes.
Comply with the safety standards outlined by OSHA and the facility.
Notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately when accidents or injuries occur.
Process incoming truck shipments, verify with bill of lading, record in the warehouse management system, and prepare for placement in the storage area.
Examine products as they come in to ensure they meet the required food safety regulations.
Appropriately identify the merchandise for storage once verified.
Fulfill putaway responsibilities as necessary and preserve the equipment related to the role.
Perform the accurate receiving, organizing, and selecting of products that move through the process.
Ensure accurate placement of cross-dock items in the staging area.
Keep the zones designated for accepting deliveries, recyclable items, and waste free from clutter.
Load recyclable items and various products onto trucks for shipping purposes.
Conscientiously complete all inbound paperwork.
Make a point to be there for every team and facility meeting without fail.
Required Skills and Experience:

Excellent communication capabilities coupled with the capacity to operate harmoniously in a team.
Proficient in safely and effectively managing all necessary equipment.
Ensuring that customer service standards are met among suppliers, clients, and team members.
Proficiency in fulfilling tasks with thoroughness, precision, and adherence to schedules.
Grasping the quality aspirations and possessing in-depth product knowledge in the realm of WFM.
Manifested responsibility and liability in task accomplishment.
Giving careful consideration to details and maintaining accuracy in paperwork.

Accumulated one year of expertise in receiving operations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wages can range from $22.00 to $39.60, varying with the individual's level of experience.
