Being the Produce Department Support Manager means supporting the Produce-Floral Manager in overseeing inventory, maintaining pricing precision, arranging training sessions, and managing various operational aspects that demand meticulous attention. This position is fast-paced and demands efficiency, effectiveness, and a dedication to excellence to drive outcomes while ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests and team members. Our ultimate objective is to enhance the everyday dining experience for our guests, and we seek a new team member who will help us accomplish this goal.

Responsibilities of Produce Department Support Manager:

• Establishing a harmonized approach with the Produce-Floral Manager for ordering produce items
• Providing a friendly greeting to visitors and assisting them promptly with accurate information
• Giving advice and catering to inquiries
• Decreasing waste and loss through improved handling practices is vital for inventory management
• Following rotation standards to replenish product levels while receiving and stocking goods appropriately
• Assist the Assistant Floral Manager in the floral department whenever needed
• Provide hands-on coaching, encouragement, and instruction to team members, utilizing the internal training platform of The Fresh Market to enhance customer experiences in a manner that prioritizes safety

Qualifications of Produce Department Support Manager:

• 3 plus years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
• 1 plus years of leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years of age
