Job Summary of Retail Store Associate:

The duties of a Retail Store Associate revolve around maintaining the presentation and availability of various packaged products found in the central aisles of a retail store, including but not limited to snacks, beverages, canned items, and household essentials, all while providing top-notch service to shoppers.

Responsibilities of Retail Store Associate:

• Implement the guidelines detailed in the Center Store training handbook for cutting, marking, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude while greeting and helping customers find their desired items.
• Ensure that productivity remains at the expected levels set forth by the company.

Qualification of Retail Store Associate:

• Strong interpersonal abilities, including communication, customer care, and sales acumen, are essential. A willingness to engage in teamwork is crucial.
• Having the capability and enthusiasm to acquire diverse job responsibilities and technical prerequisites is crucial. Fulfilling the minimum age prerequisites is a must.

Physical Requirements of Retail Store Associate:

• Perform regular lifting tasks, such as handling loads up to 20 lbs., and occasional lifting of heavier items weighing up to 60 lbs., including overhead lifting. Push and pull objects weighing up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Conform to the established volume/activity criteria.
• Maintain an upright position or engage in walking activities at all times.
• Repeatedly extending, gripping, and hoisting singular stock items beneath the waist or beyond shoulder height.
• Consistent practice of bending, kneeling, and squatting actions.
• Possess the skills to work with a range of materials related to cleaning agents, packaging supplies, and food items.
• Capable of enduring extreme hot or cold conditions during work shifts lasting no longer than 20 minutes.
• Ability to use computers, calculators and communication systems required to perform the job functions.

• Monitor and regulate the temperature of display units, storage locations, and items to meet the required standards.
• Uphold the set safety protocols of the organization. Notify the relevant personnel about any required maintenance or repair work for equipment
• Carry out any other responsibilities as designated.
• Meeting the physical criteria of the role is a requirement, regardless of whether reasonable modifications are provided.
