Meat Sales Associate

Job Summary of Meat Sales Associate:

The Meat Department must focus on ensuring that all products are fresh, correctly labeled, and visually appealing for customers.

Responsibilities of Meat Sales Associate:

• Assist in the separation and unpacking of the delivered products.
• Shift stock to designated areas for storage purposes.
• Open boxes and, when necessary, affix the appropriate pricing to items.
• Make sure that store shelves remain fully stocked as per tag allocations.
• Assist in constructing attractive store exhibits and managing meat bunker merchandise.
• Make sure to regularly rotate perishable items and discard any products that are out of code when necessary.
• Monitor the level of flawed products and treat them as per the company's procedures.
• Assist in ensuring the meat processing room is clean and sanitized during scheduled working hours.
• Display the assigned area appropriately before leaving at the end of your scheduled work shift.
• Obey the formalities and methods outlined for the operation of individual departments.
• Provide a warm welcome to those entering the establishment and be observant of their interactions.
• Comply with the organization's dress code directives for a polished and orderly look.
• Observe and respect all the company policies detailed in the Employee Handbook.
• The program's main objective is to uphold price consistency and protect products from market fluctuations.
• Cleaning and organizing sales and storage zones.

Qualifications of Meat Sales Associate:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift.
