Role and Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Associate plays a key role in increasing customer confidence and loyalty by providing accurate, fast, and friendly service. This role involves managing the customer service desk and media services in accordance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures, while ensuring that customer concerns are resolved or escalated appropriately. Primary responsibilities include:
Customer Engagement: Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous manner; provide continuous attention to customer needs; and resolve or escalate complaints professionally.
Front-End Operations: Coordinate store cash and accounting functions; stay updated on policies and procedures; manage ACM (Automated Checkout Machines); and troubleshoot front-end equipment issues.
Inventory & Stocking: Stock front-end products, restock supplies efficiently, assist in merchandise pricing, and maintain proper inventory levels.
Professional Communication: Exhibit professional telephone etiquette, direct customers appropriately, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Safety & Compliance: Keep the work area clean and hazard-free; report faulty equipment or hazards; and notify management of theft, shoplifting, or other policy violations.
Additional Duties: Perform cashier associate duties as needed and other tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer service communication skills for addressing and resolving concerns.
Proficiency in front-end systems and office equipment.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
