Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain product stock levels and rotate items daily to ensure freshness and availability.
• Assist with inventory control, including loading, unloading, and organizing shipments.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
• Create and maintain accurate shelf tags, signage, and attractive merchandising displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selection, and supporting customer needs.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to boost department sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Clean and sanitize sales floors, display cases, and equipment in line with food safety protocols.
• Participate in departmental-specific tasks such as handling beauty products, preparing signage, or completing Green Thumb training for Texas Backyard.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare back areas for night crew and incoming deliveries.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic reading, writing, planning, and organizational skills.
• Completion of company orientation and safety training upon hire.
• Department-specific knowledge or willingness to learn (e.g., beauty, grocery, Texas Backyard, entertainment).
• Physical ability to perform various tasks including lifting (up to department-specific limits), standing, reaching, bending, and operating equipment safely.
