Responsibilities for Meat Slicer:

• Arranging, chopping, milling, cutting, measuring, packaging, and tagging based on standards for quality, quantity, freshness of the product, and adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• By employing appropriate methods for handling, cutting, trimming, and packaging, it is possible to manage product shrinkage and reduce inventory costs.
• Enhancing sales through the provision of comprehensive and valuable product details to customers.
• Utilizing the tools in the meat department efficiently, such as knives, saws, wrapping machine, tenderizer, patty maker, and grinder, in compliance with safety regulations.
• Recognizing the significance of accurately utilizing and supervising product pricing, signage, and positioning.
• Maintaining a tidy and well-organized meat counter, workspace, and display cases, ensuring they are fully stocked.
• Assisting with the creation of convenient meat products that are ready to be consumed.
• Preparing, weighing, and displaying deli meats and cheeses for sale.
• Showcasing products in accordance with deli department protocols and merchandising standards. Managing customer requests, guaranteeing timely and satisfactory order fulfillment.
