Job Summary of Dairy Operations Manager:

The Dairy Operations Manager is accountable for the efficient functioning of all dairy department operations to guarantee high-quality products, customer satisfaction, and product rotation to minimize spoilage. This involves overseeing staff, inventory control, ordering goods, and maintaining optimal storage conditions

Responsibilities of Dairy Operations Manager:

• Match deliveries to their respective invoice records, identifying any discrepancies in amounts, and inform the appropriate team members accordingly.
• Tasked with managing alterations to pricing within the department.
• Keep inventory at appropriate levels through the utilization of correct ordering strategies.
• Implement a system to systematically rotate items and prevent the presence of out-of-date goods.
• Extension of the reduced pricing for select products.
• Notify the supervisor of any temperature malfunctions occurring in the cases, shelves, or storage zones.
• Handle impaired inventory by notifying authorities of any damages and storing them effectively for sales personnel.
• Uphold favorable customer interactions to nurture lasting relationships.
• Extend greetings to every client entering the store and remain vigilant throughout your shift.
• Adhere to the guidelines specified in the company's Employee Handbook.
• Transfer merchandise to storage sections and showcase them for retail.
• Keep shelves and cabinets orderly to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications of Dairy Operations Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
