In the role of Distribution Center Receiver, your involvement is critical in ensuring the precision, safety, and efficiency of the receiving processes that are vital for the seamless transfer of products along the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct duties linked to the reception and placement of products like unloading, verifying with RF devices, setting up items in specific spots, managing cross-dock operations, and choosing flow-through merchandise.
• Be punctual at the workplace, appearing well-groomed, dressed according to the dress code, and prepared for all assigned work hours.
• Comply with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Uphold a work environment that is safe, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Follow all safety measures enforced by OSHA and the facility.
• Report any accidents or injuries promptly to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and verify truck deliveries, cross-reference with bill of lading, input details into the warehouse management software, and organize for storage preparation.
• Conduct thorough checks on received products to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Properly identify merchandise for storage once verified.
• Carry out putaway tasks as necessary and maintain all related equipment.
• Ensure accurate reception, staging, and picking of products in transit.
• Stage all cross-dock shipments appropriately after check-in.
• Keep receiving zones for products, recyclables, and trash clear and organized.
• Transfer recyclable materials and other products onto trucks for transportation.
• Accurately complete all inbound paperwork.
• Attend and actively engage in all team and facility meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid leave, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the start of employment.
