Role and Responsibilities of CDL Truck Driver:

• Ensure the secure movement of items from the warehouse to specific destinations.
• Conduct thorough checks on vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Create and adhere to strategic paths to fulfill timing requirements for deliveries.
• Examine documents for precision and verify that purchases have the appropriate quantity of cases.
• Utilize ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and other equipment to facilitate the loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Adhere to DOT regulations when using tractor-trailer equipment.
• Maintain a professional manner when interacting with clients, suppliers, and scheduling teams.
• Report any problems with the vehicle without delay, including safety issues and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a tidy truck and uphold punctual and precise delivery operations.

Required Skills and Experience of CDL Truck Driver:

• Possessing a legitimate Class A commercial driver's license alongside a clean motor vehicle record and safe driving history is essential.
• At least two years of practice driving a 53-foot tractor-trailer is required.
• Individuals must be at least 21 years old.
• Capable of carrying loads weighing up to 50 pounds and completing manual delivery duties.
• Understanding DOT regulations and implementing safe driving techniques is essential for road safety and regulatory compliance.
• Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays is required.

Preferred Qualifications of CDL Truck Driver:

• Knowledge of transporting freight between docks using pallets.
• Effective abilities in managing time and planning routes efficiently.
• Dedication to ensuring a safe work environment and top-notch customer service.
