Distribution Center Worker

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Distribution Center Worker, you will be responsible for inspecting products, monitoring warehouse conditions, and supporting receiving and inventory functions to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.

• Inspect inbound product and slotted items for quality and condition.
• Assist with unloading, receiving, and preparing products for put away as needed.
• Inspect, grade, or appraise agricultural commodities to determine value and yield.
• Verify product information such as manufacturer number, season code, and PLU/UPC number.
• Attend Team and Facility meetings.
• Participate in yearly physical inventory or as required.
• Read and download TempTales for accurate reporting to vendors.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence for buyers and WFP office.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
• Strong teamwork, accuracy, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 2 years of related experience.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage range: $20.00 $36.00, commensurate with experience.

• Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined under the applicable plan at the date of hire.
