Job Summary of Beverage Assistant:

It is required to handle cash registers and check-out stations proficiently and with politeness while adhering to front-end guidelines and corporate policies. Beverage Assistant must also prioritize guaranteeing customer contentment by providing swift and considerate assistance to every Cafe patron.

Responsibilities of Beverage Assistant:

• Running the cash register for an extended time during the work shift and abiding by the guidelines set forth in the cashier accountability policy.
• Maintaining a suitable inventory level to boost sales and oversee expired items through appropriate rotation and renewal procedures during the shift.
• Uphold superior levels of service for both internal and external customers without fail.
• Acknowledge the demands of customers and act preemptively to resolve all their inquiries effectively
• Sustaining optimal food quantities in the cafeteria requires ongoing communication with the Deli Department throughout the day to meet customer demand.
• It is essential to conduct training sessions for new café employees that cover the range of products and operating procedures associated with the Beer and Wine department, aiming to equip all staff with comprehensive product knowledge.
• Keeping regular contact with all beverage and wine vendors is crucial for fostering strong partnerships.
• The aim is to effectively convey departmental worries and aims to store management and the Beverage Manager.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to health, safety, and PLCB requirements.
• To implement, supervise, and abide by Beer and Wine guidelines concerning alcohol transactions and the identification of individuals buying alcohol at the establishment.
• Extend a warm reception to every client who visits our store and pay close attention to their individual needs.
• To comply with all policies and procedures established by Redner's Markets as detailed in the employee handbook.
• Handling merchandise physically in the department to refill shelves and coolers with the essential goods.

Qualifications of Beverage Assistant:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for the entire work shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds for 30% of the time working.
