Job Summary of Meat Production Associate:

As the Meat Production Associate, your duties encompass overseeing the management, slicing, and preparation of meat and seafood to conform to the quality standards outlined by The Fresh Market and as specified by customers. You will also assist in regulating inventory levels, ensuring correct pricing, displaying merchandise attractively, and supporting various operational processes that demand meticulous attention. This dynamic role requires quickness, productivity, and a devotion to achieving elevated standards to enrich customer contentment and encourage a collaborative team ambiance. Responsibilities of Meat Production Associate:

• Be knowledgeable about the store's range of products and weekly specials while working in tandem with different departments to support customers in finding items and creating meal solutions
• Precisely handle, cut, slice, and trim an array of premium meat and seafood items within the department, contributing to the development of easy meal options that meet the quality criteria outlined by TFM
• Monitor the thermal conditions of incidents, excess, and storage locations
• Adhere to and enforce departmental procedures related to accepting, storing, and unloading merchandise shipments to maintain their freshness and standard, encompassing tasks in cases, coolers, freezers, and on the sales floor
• Enforce departmental conformity to safety standards and protocols, specifically regarding food safety, following TFM guidelines and legal mandates

Qualifications of Meat Production Associate:

• All Meat Production Associates must be certified within The Fresh Market's internal training platform within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age
