Payment Processing Clerk are responsible for ensuring speedy, friendly, and precise checkouts for our clients.They will greet and assist customers with locating items in the store and packaging their buys.Using computerized cash register systems, cashiers process transactions by weighing, scanning, and finalizing them.Eligible candidates will also aid in the sanitation of check stands and nearby regions, as well as any other duties allocated by management, including restoring products to their correct shelf positions.
Responsibilities of Payment Processing Clerk:
- Approach patrons with a friendly and polished demeanor
- Ensure items are accurately scanned, weighed, and processed at the checkout point
- Perform tasks related to cash, credit, debit, and digital payments correctly
- Fulfill customer needs by providing receipts, processing refunds, exchanges, or issuing credit notes
- Attend to small customer problems or escalate them to a supervisor for additional support
