Job Summary of Food Service Associate:

This role supports food service operations by preparing and presenting high-quality food items quickly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position contributes to a positive guest experience through friendly service, adherence to food safety protocols, and teamwork. The individual also supports store leadership by promoting company values and delivering consistent service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Service Associate:

• Provide a warm and friendly greeting to all guests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare food items following standardized recipes and procedures, ensuring proper labeling and wrapping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food prep and service areas in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently to complete transactions and reduce wait times (if applicable).
• Ensure the food service area remains clean and presentable throughout each shift.
• Monitor stock levels in coolers and hot cases, rotating items as needed and ensuring full availability for guests.
• Model company values and support the implementation of procedures, policies, and standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the store manager or acting supervisor.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications and Experience of Food Service Associate:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 3–6 months of experience in retail, restaurant, or guest service roles preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with guests and team members.
• High energy with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to contribute and assist others.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.

Job Summary of Food Service Associate:

• $15.25–$17.25 per hour.
