Logistics Coordinator

Company Overview:

As a Distribution Center Receiver, you will be at the forefront of maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in the receiving operations crucial for the effective movement of products throughout the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Execute functions involving receiving and putting away products, including unloading shipments, verifying using RF technology, staging items, managing cross-dock processes, and selecting flow-through merchandise.
• Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work for all scheduled shifts.
• Maintain OSHA and Whole Foods compliance while operating powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clutter-free workspace.
• Follow all OSHA and facility safety regulations.
• Immediately notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership of any accidents or injuries.
• Manage unloading of truck shipments, validate with bill of lading, record in the warehouse management system, and prepare items for storage.
• Inspect incoming products to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Accurately tag products for storage after verification.
• Carry out putaway responsibilities as needed and maintain all related equipment.
• Ensure precise reception, staging, and selection of flow-through products.
• Properly stage all cross-dock items upon check-in.
• Keep designated areas for receiving goods, recyclables, and trash free of obstacles.
• Load recyclable items and other products onto trucks for shipping.
• Accurately complete all inbound paperwork.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of hands-on experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
