Cake Decorator

Job Summary:

Join our Store 006 team at Rosenberg Avenue H as a Cake Decorator 1! Under the guidance of the Bakery Manager, you will bring creativity and precision to preparing and decorating high-volume cakes and desserts. Using standardized recipes, you'll help ensure every cake is not only delicious but beautifully presented. This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and decorate cakes and desserts following standardized recipes and company quality standards.
• Execute artistic cake designs and decorations for various occasions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following all safety and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation as needed.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling throughout your shift.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production deadlines and customer requests.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines, including possessing a valid Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery production preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive motions.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake decoration.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
