Job Summary of Dairy Inventory Manager:

In charge of all Dairy Department operations, the Dairy Inventory Manager oversees the maintenance of quality products, freshness, and exceptional customer service. Duties include supervising employees, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and enforcing proper storage practices for waste prevention

Responsibilities of Dairy Inventory Manager:

• Cross-check all incoming deliveries against their corresponding invoices, taking note of any shortages or excess amounts and alerting the appropriate personnel to address these discrepancies.
• Tasked with supervising changes in pricing within the department.
• Ensure inventory remains at acceptable levels through the implementation of accurate ordering techniques.
• Administer the proper rotation of goods to manage their freshness and discard expired inventory.
• Extension of the period for reduced prices on specific goods.
• Ensure that the responsible manager is notified of any temperature anomalies in the cases, shelves, and storage zones.
• Coordinate faulty merchandise by reporting damages and storing them adequately for sales representatives attention.
• Uphold good customer interactions to strengthen brand loyalty.
• Welcome all clients with a smile and maintain awareness while working.
• Respect and abide by all the policies laid out in the company's Employee Handbook.
• Convey goods for storage purposes and retail presentation.
• Guarantee the cleanliness of shelves and cases to ensure customer happiness.

Qualifications of Dairy Inventory Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
