Shift Leader

Job Summary:

Wegmans is seeking entry-level leaders who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and leading a team., you'll play a crucial role in coordinating daily activities, troubleshooting operational challenges, and leading a team of customer service-focused employees. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently manage store operations during both daytime and nighttime hours, serving as a key leader and liaison among teams and departments.
• Partner with department management to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure efficient operations at the Front End/customer checkout.
• Lead and develop a team of Customer Service employees, providing training, feedback, and resources to support their success.
• Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a champion for Wegmans' values and standards.
• React quickly to operational challenges, partnering with store leadership to problem-solve and implement solutions.
• Participate in or lead special projects and assignments across the store to enhance the company culture.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1 or more years of work experience, preferably in customer service, or a college degree.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters.
