Job Summary of General Maintenance Technician:

This position is responsible for repairs on buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety across store locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Maintenance Technician:

• Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential maintenance issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and parts usage via handheld device and internal systems.
• Receive and manage service requests using dispatch software and provide timely updates on status and resolution.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance and servicing of company vehicle is completed on time and documented appropriately.
• Maintain service truck inventory of tools and replacement parts to ensure efficiency in field repairs.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Experience of General Maintenance Technician:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with using handheld devices and digital dispatch systems.
