Job Summary:Pharmacy Team Leader

In the role of Team Leader Pharmacy, your responsibilities will include fostering the growth of a customer-focused pharmacy team through guidance and mentorship. This team will prioritize patient relationships by surpassing expectations and delivering secure, precise, and timely patient care to enhance overall patient, team, and organizational results.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, with one to three years of total experience, is required for this position, including at least three months of licensed pharmacist work
• Prior experience in a leadership role is advantageous for this position
• A Bachelor's Degree is a prerequisite for this position
• Certification or licensure is mandatory for the pharmacy profession, including obtaining immunization certification and licensing, as well as holding a valid CPR certification and NPI number
• Weight lifting demand: A maximum of 25 pounds

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure and participate in the secure and effective distribution of every patient request by adhering to all quality control protocols.
• Demonstrate superior patient care by valuing, involving, and energetically fulfilling all patient requirements, including providing guidance and resolving issues effectively.
• Execute all the responsibilities of a Pharmacist, such as interpreting and dispensing prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, evaluating the clinical elements of the prescription, updating patient records regularly, and ensuring that patients obtain the correct medications and durable medical equipment.
• Exhibit compliance with all organizational guidelines, as well as state and federal statutes, by providing practical illustrations and guidance.
• Enhance the team and patient experience by effectively organizing schedules, assigning tasks, and utilizing resources efficiently.
• Control stock levels by monitoring daily records, supervising physical inventory audits, and ensuring the appropriate handling of medications and supplies to fulfill patient needs and enhance financial gains.
• Collaborate with the Supermarket group, such as the Pharmacy District Leader, Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to optimize performance and drive profitability.
• Manage, organize, and monitor the processes of choosing, educating, enhancing, evaluating, acknowledging, and enabling employees to maintain their involvement and enhance the quality of departmental offerings.
• Adhere to cleanliness standards to meet the regulations set forth by the company and relevant government bodies.
• Evaluate and examine all relevant service and business measures and participate in developing strategies to enhance results.
• Ensure all necessary audits and paperwork are fully accomplished
• Offer hands-on oversight, which includes providing guidance and input to each team member, as needed, in accordance with established protocols.
• Establish and sustain a constructive work atmosphere that supports the well-being of every team member.
• Administer vaccines and engage in clinical activities to enhance patient and organizational results.
• Assist in coaching and instructing fresh team members in the role of Pharmacy Lead to effectively implement and carry out all company strategies and projects.
• Stay knowledgeable and current regarding fresh medications, treatments, and advancements in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Uphold expertise and proficiency in professional skills while advocating for constructive transformations within the pharmacy field to enhance patient care and corporate outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with external contacts such as doctors, nurses, and industry stakeholders.
• Carry out responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician as necessary.
