Job Summary of Custodian:

This role involves ensuring that the store is kept clean and well-organized to create a safe and inviting shopping atmosphere. Duties include tasks such as floor cleaning, waste disposal, and upkeep of employee areas like break rooms and backrooms. It is crucial to possess a high level of accountability and a keen eye for detail in order to maintain the store's cleanliness and overall appeal.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Custodian:

• Keep floors tidy through sweeping, mopping, and waxing when necessary.
• Remove and properly dispose of garbage from specified locations within the store.
• Maintain a regular cleaning schedule for restrooms, breakrooms, and shared work areas to keep them hygienic.
• Ensure that the back rooms, storage spaces, and entry points are kept tidy and free of clutter.
• Address spills and other urgent cleaning requirements in a timely and secure maer.
• Aid with arranging or disassembling store fixtures and equipment as required.
• Assist other departments by completing routine maintenance and cleaning duties.

Qualifications and Experience of Custodian:

• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in the safe handling and utilization of cleaning machinery and instruments.
• Emphasis on meticulousness and dedication to maintaining the cleanliness of the store.
• Demonstrating the capacity to operate autonomously and adhere to established store procedures.
• Availability to work at various times, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• - It is preferred to have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
