Role and Responsibilities of Commercial Driver:

• Carry out the secure transportation of goods from the central facility to designated areas.
• Before leaving and returning, assess the vehicles to confirm they are in good working order.
• Organize and track routes to successfully meet designated delivery timelines.
• Scrutinize documentation for correctness and double verify orders to ensure the accurate quantity of cases.
• Use ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and related equipment to facilitate the transfer of products during loading and unloading processes.
• Keep in line with DOT guidelines when working with tractor-trailer gear.
• Foster professional relationships through effective communication with customers, vendors, and scheduling teams.
• Promptly reporting any vehicle problems, safety concerns, or issues is crucial for maintaining a safe operating environment.
• Guarantee timely and precise deliveries by keeping the truck clean and well-organized.

Required Skills and Experience of Commercial Driver:

• Qualifications include a Class A CDL, a clear MVR, and a safe driving record.
• Candidates need to demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience in operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer to be considered for this position.
• Entry is limited to those who are 21 years old or older.
• Adept in handling up to 50 lbs. and performing physical delivery duties.
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations and implementing secure driving practices are imperative for all drivers to prioritize safety on the road.
• Being willing to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications of Commercial Driver:

• Familiarity with the procedures and protocols of dock-to-dock palletized freight transport.
• Proficient in time management and strategizing route-planning efficiently.
• Resolute dedication to fostering a safe work environment and providing exceptional service to customers.
