As the Deli Support Manager, you will be assisting the Deli and Custom Meal Solutions Manager in handling inventory, maintaining accurate pricing, conducting training, and overseeing various operational tasks that require careful attention to detail. This is a fast-paced role that demands efficiency, effectiveness, and a commitment to excellence to drive outcomes while creating exceptional experiences for our guests and team members. Responsibilities of Deli Support Manager:
- Providing a warm welcome to guests and anticipating their needs by offering friendly assistance with precise and timely information
- Giving recommendations and accommodating inquiries
- Implementing effective order guide management and strict ordering deadlines can assist in mitigating shrinkage and product damage
- Proper reception and stocking of goods are achieved by replenishing product levels while following rotation standards to uphold inventory accuracy
- Instruct the teams on the methods to manage, slice, and make ready a variety of the department's meat, cheeses, and Convenient Meal Solutions (CMS) each day
- Motivate, guide, instruct, and develop team members on the job and through The Fresh Market's training platform to drive exceptional customer service within a secure environment
Qualifications of Deli Support Manager:
- A track record of over three years handling guest services in various settings
- Experience in guiding teams for over a year
- Understanding of how to operate Microsoft Office programs
- Being at least 18 years of age is a prerequisite
