Responsibilities of Assistant Meat Operations Manager:

• Collaborating with the Meat and Seafood Manager to streamline the procurement process for meat products
• Skillfully manage the slicing, cutting, and trimming of a range of high-quality meats and seafood offerings within the department, as well as preparing items for ready-to-cook meal solutions, all while ensuring adherence to TFM quality standards
• Welcoming visitors warmly and offering proactive support by providing them with precise and prompt assistance
• Providing suggestions and fulfilling demands
• Overseeing order guides and managing deadlines for placing orders can help streamline the ordering process effectively
• Adhering to rotation guidelines when stocking goods ensures that products are replenished with proper care to maintain quality
• Train, mentor, inspire, and guide team members both on the job and using The Fresh Market's internal training system to deliver exceptional customer service while prioritizing safety and security

Qualifications of Assistant Meat Operations Manager:

• All Assistant Meat Operations Managers at The Fresh Market must obtain TFMA certification within three months of being hired.
• More than three years of hands-on involvement in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality sector
• Over a year of leadership background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential in the workplace
• Being a minimum of 18 years old is a requirement
