We are in need of a new addition to the Meijer team! As we expand, we are looking for an entry-level team member to fill the role of General Merchandise Associate. This individual should be capable of carrying out a range of retail duties concerning products, customer assistance, pricing, stock management, and display presentation. Additionally, teamwork with colleagues and supervisors for extra responsibilities will be required.

This role involves ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through offering extensive product information, effective assistance, and a personable demeanor. The responsibilities of this beginner-level team member entail engaging in a range of retail duties associated with products, customer relations, and store presentation.

Responsibilities of General Merchandise Associate:

• You will build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Help customers with any questions they may have. If you aren’t able to answer their question, you will direct them to another team member who can.
• Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• This position is applicable to the following departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
