Role and Responsibilities of Long-Haul Truck Driver:

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods from the distribution hub to specific destinations.
• Inspect vehicles both pre and post-trip to validate their condition and safety compliance.
• Strategically plan and adhere to routes to fulfill delivery schedules as outlined.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and confirm that orders are filled with the correct number of cases.
• Employ ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and associated tools to assist in the loading and unloading of goods.
• Maintain DOT conformity when operating tractor-trailer equipment.
• Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with customers, vendors, and dispatch teams.
• Make sure to report quickly any issues pertaining to safety, vehicle problems, or potential risks that may arise.
• Uphold a clean and organized truck to ensure accurate and punctual deliveries.

Required Skills and Experience of Long-Haul Truck Driver:

• A safe driving history and possession of a Class A CDL are mandatory qualifications.
• Experience of at least two years in driving a 53-foot tractor-trailer is essential for this role.
• Participation is restricted to individuals 21 years of age and older.
• Skilled at lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and conducting physical delivery tasks.
• Being informed about DOT guidelines and practicing defensive driving techniques are essential for maintaining a safe driving record.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as and when required.

Preferred Qualifications of Long-Haul Truck Driver:

• Proficient in executing dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized goods.
• Competent in arranging schedules and mapping travel itineraries systematically.
• Unyielding commitment to both workplace safety and delivering top-tier customer service.
