Frozen Food Clerk

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Our Frozen Food Clerks are the experts who make sure the frozen aisles are organized, fully stocked, and appealing for our customers. They rotate and replenish products, check expiration dates, and maintain freezers at proper temperatures. Along with keeping the department clean and safe, they assist customers with product questions and help provide a great shopping experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stock, rotate, and replenish frozen food products throughout the day.

• Ensure freezers are clean, organized, and operating at correct temperatures.

• Check dates and remove expired or damaged products.

• Assist customers with locating frozen food items and answering questions.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.

• Collaborate with store associates and management to maintain department standards.

• Support other areas of the store as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior grocery, retail, or stocking experience helpful but not required.

• Comfortable working in cold environments for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk during shifts.
