Role and Responsibilities:
- Execute functions involving receiving and putting away products, including unloading shipments, confirming using RF technology, staging items, managing cross-dock processes, and selecting flow-through merchandise.
- Be punctual at the workplace, well-dressed, and prepared for all assigned shifts.
- Observe OSHA and Whole Foods protocols when using a powered pallet jack or forklift.
- Maintain a work environment that is clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Follow all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and the facility.
- Promptly notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership of any accidents or injuries.
- Unload truck deliveries, verify accuracy with the bill of lading, input data into the warehouse management system, and prepare for storage.
- Inspect incoming inventory to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Label merchandise correctly for storage after verification.
- Perform putaway operations as needed and maintain all equipment associated with the position.
- Carry out accurate receiving, staging, and selection of products in continuous flow.
- Properly position and organize cross-dock inventory during check-in.
- Keep receiving areas for products, recyclables, and waste clear and organized.
- Load recyclable resources and other items onto trucks for transport.
- Accurately complete all inbound documentation.
- Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in all aspects of receiving operations.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wages range from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
- Benefits include health insurance, retirement benefits, store discounts, paid time off, and the option to participate in additional benefit programs.
- Eligibility for full benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the time of hire.
