As a Customer Support Assistant, you are responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to customers, assisting with inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You help maintain a clean and organized work environment and support team members in daily operations.

Responsibilities of Customer Support Assistant :

• Offer outstanding and friendly customer service experiences.
• Follow all established protocols and guidelines within the organization.
• Regularly sanitize and maintain the cleanliness of the check-out counters, while also being ready to quickly clean up any spills or damage.
• Follow the company's personal appearance policy to ensure a neat and well-maintained personal appearance consistently.
• Support in special tasks and undertake additional functions as assigned by supervision.
• Follow the established management planning policies to drive productivity and efficiency in our workplace.
• Adhere to company safety standards and promptly inform relevant personnel of any equipment repair or maintenance requirements. Maintain a clutter-free work area to prevent safety hazards and ensure a safe workplace environment.
• Upholding fairness, dignity, and respect for all associates is paramount.
• Carry out an exact price comparison function.
• Supervise the usage of store supplies, such as ribbons, cash register rolls, bags, and sanitation products, to prevent wastage.
• Aid in maintaining the cleanliness of the store by sweeping floors during operating hours and assisting with other maintenance responsibilities like tidying up break areas and restrooms as required.
• Help in the swift removal of spills and breakage of glass or plastic items to eliminate hazards and promote safety measures.
• Promote security awareness by staying vigilant and attentive to customers' behaviors and movements.
• Keep the manager or security updated on any irregular behavior that may pose a threat.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment within and outside the store premises.
• Classify refillable containers in compliance with vendor standards.
• Perform any other tasks as designated.
• Provide courteous service and a warm greeting to all customers seeking assistance.
• Ensure that merchandise is bagged or packaged following company protocols.
• Take care to promptly restock items to their regular shelves, with a heightened focus on refrigerated and perishable items.
• Consolidate shopping carts and deliver them to designated collection points and drop-off locations.
• Execute carryout options in compliance with the company's guidelines.
• Keep track of bottle returns by inputting them into a cash register or bottle slip, aiming to provide customers with the most efficient and precise service.
• Operate the bottle crushing equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
• Being able to satisfy the physical prerequisites of the job, even if accommodations are needed.

Qualifications of Customer Support Assistant :

Physical Requirements of Customer Support Assistant :

• The hands are utilized repeatedly for tasks like gripping, reaching, and performing hand and arm motions while spending the majority of the time standing.
• Ability to bend and lift products of varied weights: continuously handling items up to 15 pounds, frequently lifting loads of 25 pounds, and occasionally moving objects weighing 50 pounds.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion.
• Exhibit proficiency in handling different substances typically found in cleaning supplies, packaging products, fresh produce, indoor floral arrangements, and household cleaning agents.
• Carry out job functions outdoors despite challenging weather conditions
• Round up a total of five shopping carts and convey them to designated locations.
• Transfer vacant containers and bottles from the front section to the storage room according to store guidelines.
