Frozen Merchandising Manager

Job Summary of Frozen Merchandising Manager:

To manage the day-to-day operations of the Frozen Food Department by overseeing stock levels, rotating items appropriately, and maintaining proper storage conditions, all while upholding cleanliness and order within the department for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Frozen Merchandising Manager:

• Review invoices in comparison to delivered items and notify the appropriate staff members of any shortages or excess quantities.
• Tasked with regulating price changes in the department.
• Use effective ordering techniques to uphold an acceptable inventory level.
• Manage product rotation to uphold freshness standards and eliminate items that are out of code.
• Perpetuating the temporary price decrease for selected merchandise.
• Ensure that any deviations in temperature within cases, racks, or storage areas are communicated to the responsible manager.
• Regulate flawed products by promptly reporting damages and storing them appropriately for sales team management.
• Ensure ongoing positive customer relations.
• Extend a friendly salutation to all patrons entering the store and remain attentive as you carry out your responsibilities.
• Follow the protocols outlined in the company policies as per the Employee Handbook.
• Relocate products to storage zones and showcase them on the selling floor.
• Uphold the maintenance of shelves and cases to ensure customer delight.

Qualifications of Frozen Merchandising Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
