• Skillfully carry out customer transactions, including cash, credit, debit card processing, coupons, and loyalty program use.
• Support customers by addressing product-related queries and offering recommendations.
• Ensure that all rules and regulations on restricted products such as alcohol and tobacco are followed in line with company policies.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and structured cash register space.
• Balance the cash register and follow cash-handling policies to prevent losses.
• Promote Kroger services, programs, and promotions to customers.
• Report pricing discrepancies, safety concerns, and theft incidents promptly.
• Support team members and maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to deliver exceptional customer care in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain professional under stress.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Previous experience in cashiering, courtesy clerk, or customer service roles.
• Multilingual communication skills.
