Role and Responsibilities of Logistics Driver:

• Securely transport items from the warehouse to designated locations with care.
• Ensure to conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections before and after each journey.
• Coordinate and adhere to routes to ensure on-time delivery schedules are met.
• Examine paperwork for precision and validate that orders are accurate in terms of cases.
• Utilize ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and relevant equipment to facilitate the handling of products during loading and unloading.
• Observe DOT regulations when using tractor-trailer machinery.
• Use professional language when corresponding with customers, vendors, and logistics teams.
• It is essential to report promptly any concerns regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, or performance issues.
• Ensure that deliveries are accurate and on time by maintaining a clean and organized truck.

Required Skills and Experience of Logistics Driver:

• A clean motor vehicle record and possession of a valid Class A CDL are obligatory.
• To qualify for this role, candidates must have operated a 53-foot tractor-trailer for a minimum of two years.
• The required age is 21 years or above.
• Demonstrated capability to carry loads up to 50 pounds and accomplish physical delivery assignments.
• Understanding DOT regulations and incorporating safe driving methods contribute to overall road safety and regulatory compliance.
• Availability required for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications of Logistics Driver:

• Competence in managing dock-to-dock pallet freight deliveries.
• Displays strong skills in managing time effectively and planning routes.
• Strong focus on workplace safety and delivering high-quality customer service.
