Your position as a Winn-Dixie grocery team associate will be crucial to giving customers a great shopping experience. You'll accurately operate cashiering equipment, record transactions, and appropriately greet, help, and thank customers in a timely, polite, and kind manner while recognizing all tenders. Ensuring product freshness, receiving and unloading vendor deliveries, and keeping the grocery, general merchandise, dairy, and frozen food areas stocked and organized are all tasks you will help with. Responsibilities of Grocery Team Associate:

• Provide continuous attention to customer needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Offer product suggestions when appropriate.
• Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and proper date control, and use supply items efficiently to minimize waste.
• Operate department equipment and tools safely and according to guidelines.
• Assist with receiving vendor merchandise and promptly unload truck deliveries.
• Manage checkout lanes according to service standards and maintain accurate sales records.
• Return carts to the shopping cart corral.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement, or any action that is illegal or against company policy.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Grocery Team Associate:
