Job Summary of Store Manager:

This position is responsible for overseeing the full operations of the store, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences while driving sales, maximizing profitability, and maintaining operational excellence. The individual fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to support business growth and associate satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Manager:

• Achieve sales and profit objectives by managing inventory, displays, and cross-merchandising strategies.
• Lead and motivate associates through effective communication, team meetings, and performance engagement.
• Maintain store appearance, inventory organization, and product freshness while minimizing shrink.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, sanitation, and OSHA regulations.
• Control operational costs including payroll within budgeted limits.
• Support community involvement through local events and partnerships.
• Uphold Weis Markets policies, safety procedures, and security standards to protect assets and enhance workplace conditions.
• Conduct regular store walks to monitor operations, engage with associates, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Manager:

• High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in retail store operations, including leadership roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and store teams effectively.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local retail regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

Salary:

• Annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
