Job Summary of Meat Cutter Associate:

As the Meat Cutter Associate, you will be in charge of supervising, cutting, and trimming meat and seafood to adhere to The Fresh Market's guidelines and meet the specific requests of our clientele. You will also assist in managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate pricing, presenting merchandise in an appealing manner, and supporting various operational tasks that demand meticulous attention. This role is fast-paced and requires efficiency, efficacy, and a dedication to excellence in order to achieve optimal outcomes while crafting a top-notch experience for our customers and team members. Responsibilities of Meat Cutter Associate:

• Stay informed about the store's products and weekly advertisements and collaborate with various departments to help customers find products and compile meal solutions
• Skillfully process, slice, trim, and cut a variety of the department's premium meat and seafood offerings, as well as items required for convenient meal choices, while also ensuring that product levels meet TFM's quality expectations
• Regulate the heat levels in occurrences, excess, and storage spaces
• Regulate and adhere to departmental guidelines concerning the reception, storage, and unloading of shipments to preserve the freshness and quality of products, involving tasks in cases, coolers, freezers, and the sales floor
• Guarantee that the department strictly follows safety requirements and protocols, with a special emphasis on food safety, in accordance with TFM guidelines and applicable regulations

Qualifications of Meat Cutter Associate:

• All Meat Cutter Associates must be certified within The Fresh Market's internal training platform within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age
