Role and Responsibilities:

As a Seafood Department Associate, you will play a key role in building customer confidence by delivering excellent service, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a safe and welcoming department environment. Primary duties include:

• Greet, assist, and thank customers promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide product suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Stock, rotate, and monitor seafood items to maintain freshness and proper date control.
• Use department supplies efficiently to minimize waste and control costs.
• Operate seafood equipment and tools safely and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free; report equipment issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Report theft, shoplifting, unauthorized discounts, or other policy violations immediately to management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain such authorization.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physical capability to perform tasks related to stocking, rotating, and maintaining seafood displays.
