Responsibilities of Food Service Worker:
- Maintains the cleanliness of food service counters, storage areas, and workstations to enhance safety measures; this involves cleaning shelves and items, ensuring that floors remain uncluttered from liquid spills or moisture, and removing any risky debris from the floor through sweeping.
- Organizes and stocks food service cabinets with attention to presentation, filling requirements, and product organization as directed by department schematics.
- Analyzes the rotation mechanism of all food service products, with special attention to detecting expired stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items.
- Offers responsive assistance to customers seeking information and help with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience through guidance and product recommendations; involves suggesting additional items for purchase.
