Bakers Assistant

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Bakers Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service and assist with daily bakery operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver exceptional customer care by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries regarding bakery products
• Support the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets
• Maintain bakery displays by restocking, rotating, and arranging products to ensure freshness and visual appeal
• Follow company protocols when packaging and labeling bakery products
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, food safety, and hygiene standards
• Regularly check product freshness and remove items that do not meet quality standards
• Assist in managing inventory, purchasing supplies, and displaying merchandise as directed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a bakery, deli, or food service environment
• Knowledge of proper food safety and handling practices
• Multilingual communication skills
