Job Summary of Front End Porter:

Stop & Shop is looking for dedicated porters to help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.This role is responsible for sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, and disposing of trash. They also tidy up back rooms, break rooms, and work stations, ensuring the store remains organized and clean. Additional duties may be assigned based on the store’s needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Front End Porter:

• Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Dispose of trash and keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates.
• Tidy up back rooms, breakrooms, and work stations to maintain a neat work environment.
• Assist in other duties as needed depending on store requirements.

Qualifications and Experience of Front End Porter:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
