Role and Responsibilities:

As a Merchandise Handler, you will play an essential role in store operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Welcome customers with a courteous and helpful approach.
• Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate stock placement and assist with inventory management.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering general product-related questions.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the store by maintaining organized shelves and work areas.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to management.
• Assist with restocking shelves, racks, and displays as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Requisite Skills and Background:

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on customer satisfaction.
• Basic arithmetic skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Skilled in communication and teamwork.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in retail, inventory, or warehouse roles preferred.
• Ability to operate various stock-related equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
