Bakery Production Clerk

Job Summary of Bakery Production Clerk:

Bakery Production Clerk are responsible for preparing baked goods and displaying said goods and deli items.Bakery Production Clerk will also operate mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the deli-bakery department.They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management.Bakery Production Clerk are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store.

Responsibilities of Bakery Production Clerk:

• Handle, slice, and wrap deli meats, cheeses, and bakery items as required
• Aid customers by helping them with their orders, selecting products, and addressing special inquiries
• Safely manage the operation of deli slicers, ovens, and relevant baking equipment
• Implement practices to monitor product freshness and ensure proper rotation of stock
• Aid in the baking, frosting, or embellishment of baked goods as and when required
