Warehouse Receiver

As a key member of the team in the role of Distribution Center Receiver, you will be instrumental in maintaining precision, security, and effectiveness in the reception processes that facilitate the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply network.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will oversee all tasks related to receiving and storing goods, ensuring smooth product movement and adherence to corporate and safety regulations.

• Execute tasks related to receiving and storing items, including offloading, RF confirmation, arranging merchandise in designated areas, managing cross-docking operations, and picking flow-through goods.
• Be punctual, appear well-groomed, dress according to the dress code, and be prepared for all assigned work hours.
• Follow OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines while operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Ensure a secure, hygienic, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines established by OSHA and the facility.
• Report any accidents or injuries promptly to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive deliveries from trucks, cross-check with the bill of lading, log details into the warehouse management system, and prepare for storage allocation.
• Examine incoming goods to verify adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Tag items accurately for storage following the verification process.
• Store items when necessary and maintain all relevant machinery.
• Manage reception, arrangement, and selection of flow-through goods accurately.
• Ensure proper staging of all cross-dock items upon check-in.
• Keep designated spaces for receiving goods, recyclable materials, and waste free from obstructions.
• Transfer reusable items and goods onto vehicles for transportation.
• Complete all necessary inbound documentation accurately.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience with all facets of receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, based on experience.
