Job Summary of Deli Specialist:

As a Deli Associate at ACME Markets, your primary responsibility is to deliver top-notch customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products, such as meats, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, and hot foods. Every day brings new opportunities to engage with customers, educate them about our offerings, and ensure they receive the highest-quality products. You will operate tools like slicers, fryers, and ovens to create delicious food items and provide an exceptional shopping experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Deli Specialist:

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and other food items to meet customer specifications.
• Assist customers with selecting products, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
• Operate deli equipment, including meat slicers, fryers, ovens, and food scales, to prepare food efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring food safety standards are followed.
• Replenish deli stock and ensure products are properly displayed and labeled.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and assisting them with their deli orders.

Qualifications and Experience of Deli Specialist:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing a positive customer experience.
• Ability to work with kitchen equipment such as slicers, fryers, and ovens.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
