Responsibilities of Kitchen Cook:
- Provide prompt, effective, and welcoming customer care by warmly acknowledging customers and valuing them as the key individuals in the store.
- Aid customers by leading them to items, retrieving objects that are out of reach, and communicating customer input or demands.
- Be quick to pick up phone calls and deliver service in a pleasant and supportive manner.
- Engage in teamwork with co-workers to enhance customer experience and maintain a pleasant workplace setting.
- Ready the woks by washing them, heating to the right temperature, and adding oil before cooking.
- Start the cooking process with the soups, moving on to the meats, followed by preparing the vegetables and sauces, and adjusting the seasoning as required.
- Combine ingredients with meats and place food in hot cases, monitoring and replenishing as necessary.
- Revive inactive legal cases with newly prepared food and readiness for the following day's menu.
- Make requests for goods and supplies as needed or communicate requirements to the department supervisor.
- Always tidy up the workspace at the conclusion of each shift.
- Comprehend all facets of the Hy-Chi kitchen operations thoroughly.
- Ensure compliance with the department and company rules on personal hygiene and clothing standards.
- Abide by the company protocols and the specific instructions of each store.
- Report for duty promptly and adhere to the assigned schedule.
- Make sure to inspect the rice when time allows.
- Assist in processing customer orders at the Kitchen Cook counter if needed.

Qualifications of Kitchen Cook:

- Core mathematical competencies that involve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Competence in interpreting and complying with spoken or demonstrated orders, documenting identifying data, and seeking essential supplies.
- Having a high school diploma or similar certification is favored
- Training provided.
Physical Requirements of Kitchen Cook:
