Job Duties and Responsibilities of Produce Clerk:

• Help customers with their inquiries and steer them towards the products they are looking for.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of displays by stocking shelves and rotating merchandise.
• Support inventory management by examining stock levels and communicating any discrepancies that are detected.
• Employ equipment such as pricing tools or manual trolleys when called for.
• Ensure that safety and hygiene protocols are followed consistently throughout the store.
• Engage in teamwork to meet the needs of the general store.
• Assist other departments based on the store's current needs.

Qualifications and Experience of Produce Clerk:

• While it is beneficial, prior retail or customer service experience is not obligatory.
• Effective communication aptitude combined with a commitment to putting customers first.
• Being able to effectively follow instructions and carry out tasks autonomously.
• Ability to stand, walk, hoist, and transport goods throughout the shift.
• Ability to commit to a fluid work schedule, potentially involving weekends and holidays.
• The preference is for individuals with a high school diploma or similar certification.
