• Assisting individuals in making healthy dietary choices by offering convenient and fresh meal preparations
• Ensuring superior customer satisfaction and overseeing the accurate preparation, packaging, and display of Deli products, with a focus on preserving the cleanliness of the Deli area
• Overseeing the replenishment, maintenance, and rotation of merchandise and showcases
• Getting special orders ready and setting up trays for events
• Performing duties that involve the use of deli equipment such as meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other tools in accordance with the company’s standards and procedures
• Preserving a clean, secure, and sanitary environment in the deli area and with equipment necessitates actions like arranging shelves and products, preventing spills on the floors, discarding dangerous debris from the ground, and engaging in sweeping duties
• Monitoring, examining, and cataloging products for shipment precision, temperature control, and product excellence

• Standing continuously for a maximum of 4 hours is a prerequisite, adding up to 8 hours of standing during the shift.
• Ensure departmental cleanliness by sanitizing and cleaning work areas thoroughly, encompassing tables, floors, walls, and cooling systems.
• Handle the slicer, wrapping, and cooking devices; participate in the care of all equipment to secure safe operations.
• Observe safety, health, and Weights and Measures guidelines, and achieve and uphold a Food Handlers permit
• Display adaptability to work in different temperature zones, encompassing both cold and freezing temperatures.
• Other related tasks as designated.
